About Sarifeen
Sarifeen exists because most credit in Pakistan's distribution trade rests on a spoken promise. Distributors of cloth, medicines and fast-moving goods release stock to retailers against future sale proceeds, with no contract and no record. When payment stops, there is nothing to enforce.
Sarifeen gives both sides a written, signed, dated record of the sale and the credit terms, with the buyer verified before signing. It is a contracting tool, not a marketplace: it does not hold funds, does not run escrow, and does not take a position on the goods.
What we believe
Supply cut-off protects the customers still buying. A signed record protects you from the ones who have stopped. The two are not alternatives; a distributor needs both.
How we work
Open to anyone verified. The seller holds the account; the buyer signs by link with no account and no app. Pricing follows contract value, so a small udhaar costs nothing and a large consignment is worth documenting.
Who we are
Sarifeen is a Lahore-based legal-technology venture of Arish Group, built by practising lawyers working on commercial contracts, intellectual property and dispute resolution in Pakistan.
Where we are
The platform is in a pilot programme with a small number of distributors in textiles and pharmaceutical distribution. During the pilot, signatures are simple electronic signatures under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance 2002, supported by SMS verification and a timestamped audit trail. Accredited digital certificates and NADRA-backed verification are planned once the pilot concludes.
